SPUNOUT.IE is Ireland?s youth information website, by young people
for young people. SpunOut.ie?s vision is to help create an Ireland

on the website** are empowered with the information they need to live
active, happy, and healthy lives. SpunOut.ie was visited over 1.9

accessing information and support.

calming chat to immediate support for people going through a mental
health or emotional crisis - big or small. From breakups or bullying,
to anxiety, depression and suicidal feelings, our Crisis Volunteers
are available **Apply on the website**/7 for anonymous text
conversations. Our aim is to provide immediate support in the short
term and connect people to resources that will help them into the
future.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Community Creations is seeking to appoint a People Operations
Specialist to support the delivery of all Human Resources functions.
Reporting to the Director of People Operations, the People Operations
Specialist will support the delivery of operational human resource
activities, HR administration as well as assist in some strategic
initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a skilled human resources specialist who is
passionate about recruiting, developing, retaining and supporting
talent in a fast paced, busy and ever-changing environment. You will
be responsible and reliable, and willing to regularly contribute to
making the organisation a better place to work. You will be highly
efficient, organised and approachable with a solid knowledge of
various HR functions across each stages of employee life cycle with a
particular emphasis on end to end recruitment and payroll.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Create, implement, evaluate, update and manage all human resource
department policies, procedures, documentation, and systems
* Support in the identification of the organisation?s capacity
needs, succession planning, draft role descriptions, publishing roles
and manage all recruitment processes end-to-end
* Responsible for managing consistent employee onboarding and
offboarding process
* Design and implement effective training and development plans for
employees and line managers
* Support line managers to conduct quarterly and annual employee
performance reviews, including performance improvement plans where
necessary
* Managing and planning quarterly staff scheduling rotas and ongoing
leave requests
* Managing and streamlining new HRIS (BambooHR) and ensure all
employee records are maintained and updated promptly where necessary
* Prepare reports and presentations on people related KPIs
* Ensure organisational compliance with relevant employment and
health and safety legislation
* Manage the administration of all the benefit programmes
* Support the Director of People Operations in the administration or
performance of people-related investigations and/or
grievance/disciplinary processes
* Respond to employees? queries and resolve issues in a timely and
professional manner
REQUIREMENTS SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred. A degree in
business or a related field may also be considered.
* CIPD is essential
* Successful work experience of 2- 3 years as a Human Resources
Specialist, officer, administrator, generalist or other HR position
* Strong working knowledge of HR functions and procedures (e.g. pay
and benefits, recruitment, performance management, training and
development, etc.)
* Commitment to staying current on the understanding of employment
law and HR best practices
* Proven ability to work independently on multiple tasks with
minimum supervision
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

skills, and adaptability
* Be passionate about providing support to young people in Ireland
* Be a self-starter with; strong organisational and time management
skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to prioritise and

* Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
